This past weekend, Onyx the Doberman, our beloved and very friendly shop dog here at Fetching Forever, had her big moment in front of the camera—and we couldn’t be more obsessed with the results.
We teamed up with an incredibly talented and kind dog photographer, Andrea Wafler of The Good Mutt Photography, for a photo shoot experience that was full of laughs, tail wags, and seriously stunning shots. Whether your dog is a total ham for the camera or not-so-sure about new places, Andrea works with all kinds of dogs and knows exactly how to bring out their best.
Meet Andrea Wafler of The Good Mutt Photography
Based in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Andrea is a published and award-winning pet photographer, celebrated for her striking canine portraits. As a 2024 International Pet Photographer of the Year Finalist, her work continues to gain recognition for its artistry and impact.
Andrea's journey into pet photography began with her heart dog, Callie, a Golden Retriever/Border Collie mix. Inspired by their adventures and a desire to capture Callie's spirit, Andrea realized the joy of preserving these memories was shared by pet parents everywhere. This inspired her to pursue dog photography, offering others the chance to celebrate their beloved companions.
Her signature style combines rich colors, dynamic lighting, and the natural beauty of British Columbia's landscapes. Andrea's sessions are designed to be relaxed and enjoyable, ensuring that each dog's unique personality shines through.
A Photographer Who Truly Gets Dogs
